As an avid gardener myself, I really enjoy visiting large scale well done gardens. Whether they be public or private, there is something about a garden that has been meticulously designed, patiently sown, and lovingly maintained. Suffice it to say that I’ve been in some pretty spectacular gardens around the world; and the following 5 gardens are a bit of a mash-up when it comes to scale and location, however one thing unites them all: they are all stunning examples of gardens as a legacy in the United States.
